Service Description

INFACT Food Addiction Informed Treatment™ (FAIT™) Practicum

Direct supervision providing and receiving treatment in an online clinical setting. Students practice, experience, and conduct Food Addiction Informed Treatment™ (FAIT™) implementation to initiate clients/patients into a recovery journey to achieve recovery from food as a substance use disorder. Experienced clinical supervision, guidance and intervention is provided during every session.

Students apply the process and guide the patient/client through a recovery journey similar to that provided by inpatient residential treatment facilities as well as outpatient rehabilitation programs available for recovery from other addictions, implementing the knowledge gained in the INFACT Certification program.

If you are unable to complete a course or keep your commitment, we encourage you to ask about alternative options. We appreciate your understanding of this policy. If you have any questions, please contact us.
