The International School for Food Addiction Counseling and Treatment (The INFACT School) is the world’s first and only Food Addiction counseling training program that awards professional certification from an accredited certification body. Graduates qualify for a Certified Food Addiction Professional (CFAP) certificate from the European Certification Board and a CFAP from the Addiction Professionals Certification Board.
INFACT offers a graduate-level curriculum that integrates evidence-based clinical expertise, professional supervision, and comprehensive career development. It also provides a unique network of Certified Food Addiction Professionals (CFAP), ongoing professional development, continuing education, and experiential treatment opportunities for food addicts seeking recovery.
INFACT strives to incorporate the most recent research-based methods based on the science of addiction and the treatment of food as a substance use disorder to provide treatment for food addiction recovery.
INFACT incorporates the European Certification Board of Prevention & Addictions Counselling (ECB) Ethical Standards for Food Addiction Professionals, The Association for Addiction Professionals/The National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC/ NCC AP) Code of Ethics, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM Criteria®) Six Dimensions for addiction treatment in clinical practice. It also adheres to DSM-5-TR criteria for food addiction as a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) by implementing the Yale Scale 2.0 and the INFACT Screening Tool.

- We have educated almost 200 students from 19 countries so far, many of which have begun their carrier as Certified Food Addiction Professionals (CFAPs)
